ENGINE ORDER TELEGRAPH

In the case of an emergency, the Digital Engine Order Telegraph (DEOT) or Engine Order Telegraph (EOT) will act as a means of communication, as to translate speed orders from the Wheelhouse/Bridge to the Engine Control Room (ECR) and receive replies in return.
